My cousin June, who lives in Birmingham, told me that she and her husband are going to be married 45 years this coming October. So in anticipation of this big event, she did a search for Holiday Cottages in Wales to see what she could find that was affordable. She was looking for a bed and breakfast and wanted to compare the different ones to see which had the best-looking breakfasts and which had the most reasonable rates.

She found one, she told me, but it was way out in the country–a bit too far out she thought, even though they liked to be in a quiet area. She wanted something that would be more accessible to shopping areas and the tourist places, she said. So she passed that one by, even though the rates were great, and checked out some more. She is going to try to surprise her husband about this get-away she’s planning.
